Spruce Knob

An observation tower allows visitors to Spruce Knob to see over the low scrubby trees of the flat summit area (1984-06-02).

The "Witness Tree" should be the true summit. There is a rustic metal rod near the other tree with a red paint (2019-09-07). Photo by Powen Ru.

Picea Benchmark may not be on the highest ground. I don't think I can locate it without GPS assistance, no chance to find it if under snow. (2021-05-22). Photo by Powen Ru.
