A rugged rock massif in Golden Ears Provincial Park. It's located on the north side of upper Alouette Lake between Stave Lake and Gold Creek. Can be viewed to good effect from parts of the Surrey-Maple Ridge area or from the northern part of Hatzic Prairie. The northeast face of the main peak is nearly 1700 meters or 5000 feet and is far and away the biggest rock wall near Vancouver. There is now road access to near the head of Alouette Lake. A trail climbs up to the base of the intricate southeast ridge. Scramble and hike along this ridge to reach the base of the summit pinnacle, which is a Class 4 climb.
