This unassuming hill on the edge of the Dead Sea may be the most prominent peak with a summit below sea level. The mountainous eastern shoreline of the lake - the lowest point on land in the world - is particularly conducive to finding such a peak, as most depressions are extremely flat and therefore unlikely to contain peaks of any note.

As of writing, it is not known if this hill is named. It currently takes its name from the adjacent river and nature reserve.
