The 100' Lula Fire Tower, built in 1944 and the only one in Hall County, is located at #5707 Lula Road on the grounds housing the Georgia Forestry Commission Headquarters. The fenced-in Tower is occasionally still used to pinpoint fires when their planes are on the ground. It has been repurposed as a radio tower and perhaps the main reason why it has avoided demolition.
