Mont Raoul-Blanchard is the highest point in the Laurentian Mountains of Quebec, the vast area of forested hills that sprawls over an immense area north of the Saint Lawrence and Ottawa Rivers. As such you might think that it would be a popular ascent, but the exact opposite it true. It lies on private land owned by the Séminaire de Québec and all access is forbidden. This "no-trespassing" rule is strictly enforced.
