The Northern extension of Indian Fort Mountain was granted its own name as a feature although it is geologically part of the same sedimentary formation. The nearest highest neighbor is Indian Fort Mountain to the south and the connecting saddle drop to around 1325.
GPS shot at summit showed an elevation of 1533 which is within 5 feet of the USGS elevation used. Saddle was shot by GPS unit and was 1327 within 2 feet of estimated col provided herein.
