The Wheeler Fire Tower, located in the Hearts Content Campground of the Allegheny National Forest, is one of two Fire Towers still standing in Warren County , the other being Cole Hill. The 80 foot tall Tower, erected in 1922, was the first for Warren County. It is called Wheeler for the Wheeler-Dusenbury farm.
The locked, fenced-in Tower is not open to the public.
A BM embedded in concrete is to one side of the Tower "USC&G SURVEY, STATE, 1935".
