Horse's Mouth, Washington

This is due North of Ellinor Point-B. The GPS is off in Peakbagger. This picture is from the summit of Point-B. Horses Mouth. This south facing option has a 12' 5.8x offwidth without any place for protection above myself in the picture. We downclimbed from here. We went around the base of the tree to the east (dead tree on the right side of the peak) and from there a large crack/cave can be stemmed above a ledge and when you top out of the crack/cave in 15', you can swing up to the summit spur. From there, stretch across the crack/cave and make one push/press to the summit block. Maybe a 5.4. Easy but no place for protection. We added two new slings and two rap rings at the base of the summit block for a 40' rappel down to the main ledge on the east side just on the other side of that dead snag in the photo (2020-11-02).
