Wade Mountain is at roughly 1500 with a BM called Smithers. The nearst tallest neighbor is Monte Sano to the SW at over 1500 feet but the full prominence is disturbed by the saddle on the straight line between Wade Mountain and adjacent Smithers Mountain which has a saddle at 870. The base elevation around most of Wade Mountain is around 800. Trails to hike within the Wade Mountain Preserve go to top.
