This peak is the highest point in the Caribe Rain Forest at 1077 meters or 3.533 feet. The next higher peaks are to the SW interior of the island and excede 4000 feet there. Along that line there is the low valley area of the El Mango area that is only 100 meters above the ocean. It appears that this area is the highest low area betweent the next highest neighbor so this peak gives good prominence. Best estimate from sketchy topo avaialble on island.
