Southernmost feature of the Ginger Cake Mountain on the east side of Linville River. The southernmost peak has steep slopes from the south forming the feature named "Sitting Bear Mountain" a named USGS peak, but it has no more than a 100 foot prominence relative to Ginger Cake Mountain to the north. The Col is obvious in the saddle and around EL 4,005. River below is at EL 2,400 so the feature rises 1,600 feet above the eastern river bank.
