The Ghashmastan summit in the Dena sub-range is the highest point in the incredibly vast Zagros Mountains, one of the major ranges of the world. Located in an arid area, a trail from the north climbs 2200 meters from the village of Khafr, and it is likely one could arrange a trekking tour to do the hike.
