The location and elevation of this point, the highest land in Gambia, is derived from void-filled SRTM data from the Viewfinder Panoramas web site. It is part of the Verlingara Crater Rim topography, which reaches higher elevations to the south in Senegal. Determining the actual high point would require careful surveying, but it is likely to be in the general vicinity of the location reported here.
