DescriptionThe view from the summit affords a great view south of the area of Welsford, the valley, and the woods around them. The Grand-Bay/Westfield area can be seen in the distance. The summit for Mount Douglas (837 ft/255 m.) is about 500 m. to the north, however the trail brings hikers to Mount Douglas Bald for both the great view, and as a place to practice rappelling on the south face.
