List Description

Following up on the hugely popular State Quarters program, the US Mint is currently putting out "America the Beautiful" quarters. Like the previous series, there is one coin per state, but this time the obverse features a scene from federally-owned land within that state, often from a National Park or National Forest.

Many of these scenes feature mountains, and this list is an attempt to catalog all of the peaks clearly visible on the coin designs. This is a work in progress, since as of right now (late 2015) not all quarters have been released. Also, it is sometimes hard to tell which peaks are shown on some of the coins.
