In the summer of 2007 I began hiking seriously. Living in Massachusetts and the close proximity of the mountains make it easy for me to come back for more and more. I have done some hiking in the last 10-15 years but very sporadically. Since joining a few different hiking groups I have made hiking a part of my life. I have completed many of the lists for four thousand footers in New England and the Adirondacks.

There is nothing more satisfying than reaching the summit when you are dripping with sweat, your muscles are tight and the views are amazing. I have slowly acquired more and more cool gear to make hiking more enjoyable. After doing some hikes in the winter, I am now ready for the summer again. And now, am thinking of extending my hiking experience to include other parts of the country and the world. I would love to hike the Andes, since that is where my roots are. I am thinking Peru, Chile, and of course Bolivia! Then who knows...

Hiking Groups I belong to: Random Group of Hikers (leader) (www.hiking.meetup.com/305), Boston Hiking(www.hiking.meetup.com/170), AMC (Leader)

I live in Pepperell, MA and I love hiking!
