Born in Toledo, Ohio and now having been living and climbing out of Carlsbad and San Diego, California for many years; I will climb anything that has any prominence, a name, a benchmark, or is on a list. More interested however in the physical nature of mountains, ie. range highpoints or prominences, and less interested in political boundaries, ie. county and state highpoints. There are only two real lists obviously, the list of what one has climbed, and the list of what one has not climbed. Both of those lists seem to be getting longer for me :)
