Physics PhD student at the University of Idaho doing planetary astronomy research. I am always looking for climbing partners, so if you want to team up, just shoot me a message. I am open to local day trips, as well as lengthy road trips to just about anywhere in the western US. My upcoming trips (contact me if interested in joining):

March 2021: Arizona p2ks (unconfirmed)

I am also looking for partners for the following mountains, but do not have any dates scheduled yet. Hit me up if you want to partner up on any of them:

Mount Hood (OR): Hogsback to Pearly Gates
Thompson Peak (ID): Standard east side route
Sacajawea Peak (OR): Thorp Creek route
Snowshoe Peak (MT): Leigh Lake route
Kings Peak & Gilbert Peak (UT): As a 3 day backpack
Mount Shasta (CA): Overnight via Avalanche Gulch
Granite Peak (MT): Overnight via south side route
Mount Stuart (WA): Overnight via Cascadian Couloir
Cloud Peak (WY): Overnight via Mistymoon Lake

Climbing goals I am currently working on (some much more actively than others):
1. The 50 state high points
2. The ultras of the lower 48
3. The Idaho 12ers
4. The major Cascade volcanoes
5. The Colorado 14ers

My ascent quality system:
1: Drive-up or very short paved path
2: Short unpaved path
3: Medium trail or short and easy scramble
4: Long and easy trail or sustained easy scramble
5: Long day trip or moderate scramble
6: Extremely long day trip or tough scramble
7: Two day backpack or very tough scramble
8: Three to five day backpack or basic technical climbing
9: Six to ten day expedition or moderate technical climbing
10: Multi-week expedition with technical climbing
