My mountaineering career started at the age of 15 with a trip to Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, New Mexico in 2000. I summitted Baldy Mountain at 12,441 feet and haven't looked back. I have summit many peaks including Baldy now 8 times, the Tooth of Time 6 times, Black Mountain, Touch Me Not 3 times, Mt. Phillips, Little Castilla 2 times, Mt. Wheeler 2 times, Mt. Walter 2 times, West Spanish Peak, East Spanish Peak twice, Guadalupe Peak twice, Mt. Washington, Mt. Mansfield, Mt. Greylock, Humphreys Peak, Mt. Elbert, Mauna Kea, Mt. Whitney, Mt. Rainier, Borah Peak, Boundary Peak, and many other state highpoints. My ultimate goal is to summit all of the 50 state highpoints (now with 46 completed) and the "seven" summits (now with 2 completed), which there are really eight including Indonesia with the ultimate being Mt. Everest as well as the triple crown that includes the Pacific Crest, Continental Divide, and Appalachian Trails. |
