Ascent Trip Report

Consolation peak after deciding to not push the Emmons Route due to deteriorating conditions. On our way back down from camp at Emmons Flats, we descended down from Camp Schurman through Emmons Glacier then up to the saddle at Camp Curtis. We unroped here, then scrambled along the ridge to tag Steamboat Prow before continuing our descent.
