Ascent Trip Report

The hike up this peak starts out kind of crappy, with deadfall and moderate brush for the first 400 vertical feet or so. It's then an easy brush bash up to around 5400 feet, at which point the going improves with shorter brush and a game trail that can be followed on and off. Past 7000 feet it's a pleasant walk up grassy slopes to the the top, where there's a great view up the western edge of Glacier National Park as well as of the significant peaks in its southern reaches like Stimson and Saint Nicholas.
