Ascent Trip ReportSki ascent. Parked past the "parking deniere" at a high point in the road before descending onto the flat farm area. The guard dogs from the herd barked and chased us up to a five meters distance; this can be scary as these are wolf-killing protection dogs.
Snow began around 2000m and was skinnable around 2400m.
Ascent time was 6 and a half hours. I was on borrowed gear and had equipment difficulties, and needed to switch back and forth between ski boots and mountaineering boots twice for skinning and affixing crampons. Subtract 90 minutes (or more) from the ascent for a normal party.
