Ascent Trip ReportFelt easy, surprisingly. Left my poles at the parking lot like an idiot though. I loved this hike. Favorite so far in socal. Temperature was roughly in the mid 70s. Having had almost a heat incident when heading to Los Pinos Peak two weeks prior, I brought along extra water with electrolytes and salty snacks to prepare my body in case it did get hot again. Views were beautiful on the way up, more so than the peak itself. I could see San Gorgonio, San Jacinto, Baldy all at the top. Eyes set on future peaks. |
