Ascent Trip ReportAfter a long day of hiking (Boundary, White Cap, Kennebago Divide, Snow) Dan and I grabbed dinner (and a beer) at the Lone Wolf Inn in Eustis. After dinner, I offered to drive Dan up to the trailhead so he would know where to go tomorrow while I hiked Saddleback & The Horn. We got to the trailhead and realized there was still enough daylight to go for it - so we did.
19:15 - Depart car onto the snowmobile track/old logging road. The road/trail is easy to follow at a gradual grade. Follow it until you come to the cairn marking the beginning of the trail (on the left).
19:55 - Summit. We are racing daylight so we head down quickly
20:20 - Back at the car. 1:05 round trip - pretty good for 2.5 miles.
