Ascent Trip ReportLong road skin approach: Goat Creek Sno Park -> 500 -> 510 -> 531 to Roundup Creek Basin S of the peak. Gained the W ridge through a steep larch grove. Some great powder for the first 1k' descent, then an icy ride through the woods back to the road. Took a more direct descent to 500, then rode fast on the icy road. Probably 10 miles in one hour. |
