Ascent Trip ReportI decided to climb Willey, Field and Tom as a loop starting at the Mount Willey House going up the Kedron Flume trail. That was a fun trail!!!!! Steep but the flume was cool and the ladders were thrilling!! I would not want to descend this way!!!
The trail to Field was so easy compared to the initial climb. The trail to Tom was a little more challenging but still not as difficult as the Flume Trail.
At the peak of Tom there were people holding out food that birds were eating out of their hands.
As I was walking back to my car on the road, a truck stopped and offered me a ride back. It was a couple I had passed on my up the flume trail.
Overall a great hike!!
Motion X: 8.9 miles; 4,090' gain; 7:11:34.
