Ascent Trip ReportThis mountain is more strenuous than listed in the AMC guidebook. No, its not Katahdin, but it is challenging. There are not many switchbacks so its basically straight up for 3 miles. Cranberry does not get the billing of its higher neighbors like Avery, West, and the Horns, but it should. The views are much better than South Horn and is 360°. |
