Ascent Trip Report

Access to this point is tricky, especially since it seems that most of the land is privately owned. Although access from several directions are possible, you still need a permit from the MCSA (Mountain Club of South Africa). Also, the GPS recorded 1828m and not 1816 as stated on the site. Public access appears to be possible from Mountain Sanctuary Park. The distance should be more or less the same and the terrain is more forgiving.
