Ascent Trip ReportBeing from Lopez I have done this scramble dozens of times. But this time was fun because I brought my 6 and 9 year old boys along with me. They wore their harnesses and helmets for the climb and I put up a fixed line for a couple of exposed spots and they prussiked up on their own. I know they could climb it easily so it was more about learning (and safety). We had a great time. We ended up hiking down the back side instead of downclimbing or having them rappel (would have been a fun training exercise). But we were hungry for lunch. Took the to the Islander resort for burgers and ice cream sundays. Great day out!
