Ascent Trip ReportOut and back to Big Attitash from Bear Notch Road, going over Table Mtn on the way. Also visited the SW and W summit bumps of Big Attitash that have a 2900' contour (climbed up off trail a bit for the SW bump, and the trail goes over the W one). I visited the two eastern 2900' bumps in Dec 2016. The eastern-most one is considered to be the true summit. Today I went all the way to the eastern summit for a re-visit, before turning around and heading back to Bear Notch Road, for 9 miles total.
The trail is well-traveled to the Table Mtn ledges, and I saw a few groups of hikers there. The trail shows much less sign of use once you get past Table Mtn, and I didn't see anyone on that 3-mile stretch of trail. I did however see recent boot prints in the mud in a few spots.
