Ascent Trip ReportWe had initially planned to climb Bear Creek Spire, but Cathedral whipped us pretty thoroughly the previous day. We left from Mammoth around 6:45am, and Dan dropped me off at the Mono Pass Trailhead at 7:30am and went on to climb Fairview and Marmot Domes. I slogged up the west ridge, and then I slogged down the southwest face and walked out on the trail for about three miles. The Dana Fork had pretty high volume and was a bit challenging to cross, but I was able to cross over a log not too far upstream.
Stats: 2h15m up, 16m at summit, 2h11m down, 8.3 miles, ~3,200ft gained.
