Ascent Trip ReportThe highpoint, for now, is still there.
After a quick trip up Black Mountain, KY for old time's sake (it's still hideous and viewless), I left from near The Doubles as others have done, tagging that summit en route. I wandered a fair bit at the highpoint area, which seems to be just above a point where the old woods road cuts abruptly left across the summit ridge. My return trip was entirely in the dark. Glad to have this one done. |
