Ascent Trip Reportattached is a track of the drive in. the worst part of the drive in is the amount of scratches you may end up incurring. i stopped a number of times to cut back branches with clippers or bow saw.
there is a waypoint for a bypass i didn't take: the bypass looked narrow and i didn't feel like trimming it back, but it also looked like less of a 4x4 challenge. you may prefer it, but i just shifted into low gear and climbed the rutted hill.
i recommend parking at my "park here" waypoint... beyond that the road has seriously deteriorated, and it becomes more of a 4x4 adventure. the only tire tracks i could see at this point were OHV.
the hike itself is easy, although i somehow picked a route which seemed to maximize the false summits on the way to the real summit.
the views were spectacular, especially of the snow-covered sweetwater range.
