Ascent Trip Report

Day 2 of a four day trip with easy start and finish days. I started the day at Madulce Station and finished at Alamar Station stopping by Madulce Peak on the way and spurring off to Big Pine Mountain in the afternoon. Read all kinds of details here.

Peak trail: loads of big trees are down on the trail. They tend to be right on the ground and have notches cut to help crossing on the hillsides. The old trail is mostly holding except near some gullies. That is lost and it is thin peakbagger trail right at the end of the climb. Distance 2.5 miles and not 2 as the sign states at the last junction.
