Ascent Trip ReportNot as much bushwhacking as billed. From a locked blue gate with maple leaves 3/4 mile east of the sharp turn on 109, took a wide logging road north and west through a maple sugar operation. This road is not on the quads, but shows clearly on satellite photos. At a junction right by the stream, took a left on an older logging road that crossed the main stream then a side stream. When the road leveled out, a skidder track on the right followed up that side stream all the way to 2500'. I put on snowshoes and started bushwhacking, mostly easy but a bit tight and steep at the finish. On the summit, a new register tube, an old register jar on the ground, and some decent views. Returned same way.
