Ascent Trip Report

I walked the road up from the bottom of the hill for the extra exercise, but I'd think the road is driveable for a vehicle with decent clearance. The road surface is in good shape (a little rockfall) with just a few of the water bars maybe deep enough to cause concern. I continued on the road past the 3240 junction before ascending, to bypass the first high point on the ridge (3940), then going up through steep fairly open forest west to the ridge. Trees and rhododendrons hinder progress on the ridge. Nothing that difficult in the various ups and downs, just a lot of slow going with few open areas. Nice large rocky summit area.
