Ascent Trip ReportFrom the gated end of FR99 past Mountain Top Resort, took New Boston Trail to David Logan Shelter for the night. In the morning, bagged Mt. Carmel (see separate report) and took the LT to Telephone Gap where I dropped my pack. From the height of land of the LT south of Telephone Gap, bushwhacked easily up the ridge to the summit. On the summit, a register jar. Returned to pack, bushwhacked down to FR99 at a culvert at 1820' and followed it to my car. |
