Ascent Trip Report

Parked at Beartrail Ridge Gap and bushwhacked .6 miles straight up the hill keeping ridge to my left. Followed some old green and pink flags. Lots of climbing over moss covered logs. Sometimes there was kind of a trail. Very thick and beary. 30 minutes up where the high point seemed to be were some large stone slabs. Found pair of hiking poles which was great since I forgot mine and my knee was killing me. Placed poles back down at trailhead. No way somebody was going to bushwhack back up that crap to retrieve them. Hopefully they got them back. 20 minutes down basically going right next to ridge. Saw nobody.
