Ascent Trip Report

I was a pilot for a small island airline flying daily from my base in Saipan to Tinian, Rota, and Guam. On one trip I stayed overnight on Rota and rented a car with other pilots and a few ticket agents from my company and made the hike. Getting to the peak is easy, take the only road to the top of the mountain and once up there it only requires a short bushwhack through thick grass to get to the summit. Be sure to stop at the many, many Japanese WW11 installations locates on the road up as well as all over the island. Definitely worth a trip.
