Ascent Trip ReportThe topo map alludes to the thought that this and the adjacent little peak in the database called Crest, are equal in height but they are not. This one is a true sub-peak with some prominence (likely just less than 100 feet and the other would in my guess be little more than 30 feet above the tarn-pond. Of the two "peaks" entered by B.Kalet, this is the only one really worth doing. The other is small and simple slab walk. This crest is basically a class 3 scramble most of the way - easy but somewhat rewarding short extra credit feature to explore. |
