Ascent Trip Report

Wishing now that I hadn't backtracked after reaching to the lower knob within sight of the Revolver Club (too little prep), returning then to the tower clearing, instead almost continued following the New England Trail / Metacomet & Monadnock Trail (NET/M&M Trail) back down and so would have discovered the trail's crossing of Cherry Street (never did) to walk thereby a neat little two mile loop. Peakbagger's Open Street Map is great at showing the many varieties of existing trails, improving my preparation with these maps allows me a sensible first time chase around new summits, thank you peakbagger.com!
