Ascent Trip ReportThe access for Barganier Lookout Tower (Butler County HP) is at a nonposted locked gate where you are .45 air miles from the summit. The road is very direct and I only had to hike .48 miles to get there. I covered this distance in 8 minutes. There is no evidence of any remaining structure of the lookout tower, but there are some deer stands. You have to hike a short distance into the woods from the road to reach the highest point. I returned to the car in 10 minutes. |
