Ascent Trip Reporti followed dennis poulin's directions. gmaps thinks it can get you to the summit, but it has several errors. i'm attaching a track of the drive in to the gate. it's about 45 min drive each way. the sign asks that you use 4wd to climb to avoid wear and tear on the road. the road is kept in good repair though, no doubt due to the antenna complex up top.
it was windy, and i heard the same howling which gustav mentions.
