Ascent Trip Report

This peak is called "Ward Peak" on Open Street Maps. We climbed it cross-country from the south after climbing Chiricahua. This side burned severely and is pretty open, while our descent to the east encountered some deadfall and young aspen groves that had to be negotiated. The high point appears to be at a downed tree.
