Ascent Trip ReportSpring break trip. Flew into DFW airport, rented car and stayed in Shreveport, LA for the night. Drove to Driskill Mountain trail head at Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church on Sunday morning. Hiked approximately 1 mile to summit- nice kiosk on summit, along with large rock cairn. Signed register. Walked north approximately 20 yards to find survey quadrant. US state highpoint #38. |
