Ascent Trip Report

I was already down south for Spirit, so I figured I'd grab Ireteba on my way back to Las Vegas. It's worth noting that the access road (Guzzler?) is not in the best shape. My Subaru handled it okay, but I bumped the bottom a couple times. No big boulders, just a few 1-2ft rocks. You can drive around most of them if you don't mind scratching your paint a bit on the shrubs.

The hike itself was pretty trivial. I did Bard and Ireteba in around an hour and a half round trip. The drive was honestly harder than the hike. The views from Ireteba were worth it, though. I could see all the way up to Charleston, Wilson, and Rainbow. I could just make out the outline of Gass in the distance, too. A good hike if you happen to be in the area, but nothing worth going out of your way for.
