Ascent Trip Report

Backcountry ski day under bluebird conditions. Becca took me out to this backcountry spot as it is one of her favorite places to go for winter turns with easy access. We took few extra laps on a nice section about 1/3 of the way down. Shuksan and Baker were out in all of their glory. We also spotted Tomyhoi, American/Canadian Border, Sleese, Sauk, Sloan, Pugh, White Chuck, Whitehorse, Three Fingers, and countless other Cascade gems! Conditions were perfect and it seemed like there were more people out in the backcountry than skiing at nearby Mt Baker Ski Area. A wonderful day out with Becca and her first time on her new skis and tech bindings! Pics
