Ascent Trip ReportWe took one of the steepest possible routes, which I wouldn't recommend for anyone who can avoid it. It was hard getting up and treacherous getting down (loose gravel and rocks). However, the views were great no matter where on the mountain we were. The combination of cool (not cold) weather and light snowpack made this a good hike to do in January. Though it would have been better to drive to the top of the north peak and hike across the ridge, it was still an adventure and good preparation for my subsequent hikes.
