Ascent Trip ReportScramble to the end of the lake, a faint but lightly used trail. Scale loose boulders to the northwest of the lake, you can find a goat trail leading to the top of the ridge. From the ridge it is a scramble over large boulders and shale like rock to the peak. There is a register at the top. Register showed only a handful of climbers in the last 5 years. Saw a mountain goat at the top. Visibilty was ok, but fires in the Missoula area put smoke haze to the north.
