Ascent Trip Reportgmaps will take you to the summit. the roads are good gravel, followed by good dirt. there were a couple muddy sections which my truck did fine with. some clearance required. i was pleasantly surprised that there were no gates preventing me from driving the whole way up.
it's not clear to me that the radio tower covered summit is the high point: the 7160' contour to the east looks higher... it could be that they chopped off the summit though. i wandered around the eastern contour and visited every bump and rock which might be higher. the trees on the eastern contour prevent easy hand leveling.
